SK Telecom announced on May 25, 2011 that the company plans to open application store in China and Japan, in a bid to aggressively foray into overseas markets, according to the Korea Herald. It is reported that starting from July this year, the content and applications of SK Telecom's application store, T-Store, will be available in the Mobile Market, China Mobile's application store. SK Telecom's "J-Store" is slated to launch in Japan in September 2011. The J-Store is a localized version of T-Store, providing localized content and applications, aiming to meet the taste of Japanese users.
